BMW’s largest X model will be the top of the range SUV. BMW hopes to compete with Range Rover and Audi’s large SUV’s
Over the past few years, there’s been a terrible trend amongst car manufacturers. It seems like every day there’s a new addition to an already large model range, especially with German car manufacturers. BMW and Audi have at least 14 different models in their range, count them. It’s ridiculous and now BMW has just added another model to the range. It’s bigger, wider, and heavier than an X5. It has a huge grill at the front and a higher ride height than all the other SUV’s in the range.
The BMW X7 is supposed to be the most luxurious car in the range. it comes with 7 seats and 4 wheel drive as standard and the base price is £72,000. It also comes with air springs at both axles and Adaptive suspension with electronically controlled dampers as standard. It comes with huge 20 inch wheels to help you in feeling more powerful. Speaking of power, the base model X7 30d comes with 265 hp and the top of the range M50d diesel will do 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, this model will set you back £87,000.
The X7 comes with something called Road package which enables a selection of xSand, xGravel, xRocks and xSnow driving modes at the touch of a button. Are you really going to take this off-road?
